COMPUTER CONTROLLED ISOTHERMAL CONTINUOUS STIRRED TANK REACTOR (ISOTHERMAL CSTR)

Technical Specifications: -

In an ideal CSTR (Le. an ideal steady state flow reactor) the contents in reactor are well mixed and have uniform composition throughout. Thus, the exit stream has the same composition as the fluid within the reactor. This type of reactor is known as mixed flow reactor. This set-up is used to study a non-catalytic homogeneous second order liquid phase reaction under isothermal condition. The set up consists of two feed tanks through which two reactants are fed to the reactor. Peristaltic pumps are provided to measure the individual flow of Chemicals. Constant temperature water bath arrangement is provided to conduct the experiment at various temperatures. Reactants enter at lower end coming out of the top of reactor from where samples are collected and passed through conductivity meter for analysis.

It will consist of Graphical User interface under customized LabView software suitable for windows operating system environment with following Software feature as per your application to be completed by us: -

· Interfacing of all type input sensor through USB DAQ module to PC.

· Front end software for acquiring data from different type of sensor.

· Temperature control through controller using analog output,

· Software consist Graphical User Interface for input parameter profileas well as numeric indicator.

· Controlling temperature using PID algorithm.

· PID algorithm for accurate and best performance.

· Implementation of operation sequence with specified safety inter locks based on acquired analog inputs.

· Software provides safety interlocking feature to avoid emergency conditions.

· Data Logging facility for all parameters in specific format.

· The acquired parameter will be available for display in Excel format and graphical form for ease of analysis and optimization of the system.
